Right so, I haven't made too much of an effort for this, but I figured I might as well start scratching around now rather than later.
I'm thinking of making a game-- *cue laughter* -- guys... I'm serious. :< But my art is, uh... lacking! And so is my musical talent. The story is pretty simple, so I might not need an editor, but I guess it could help. (then again, I got critical friends for that...)
It's an action-adventure game, and I was wanting it 2D. I dunno if I want to do retro style sprites (8-bit: no-no. 16~32-bit: maybe), but I don't really like vector style (looks too flash-y, if that makes sense...). HD would be too straining on me, my pocket book, and the artist I'm sure. I also need someone who is good with making backgrounds, and levels (just the artwork, I'll handle level design.). I don't mind having two people, but the styles have got to agree with each other, meaning being visually pleasing to the eye when together.
Musician, on the other hand, won't have that many constraints. :V I just need someone who likes video game music, and can loop music properly. I was gonna give a ton of freedom to the musician, since I believe that the best music comes from the heart.
If anyone can help a honkey out, I'd appreciate it. If you can't, I won't be hurt. Just trying to get my eggs in my basket while I have some time.
PS: Hoooooly crap I hope I got most of everything I wanted to say in one place, cause I'm a big dumbhead sometimes...
